Awards and Listings

We are proud of our awards from CAMRA, partly because they cannot be bought, and partly because we are members ourselves. They are judged by CAMRA members and awarded each year.

We are frequent CAMRA County Pub of the Year Hertfordshire winners and local branch Pub of the Year and Cider Pub of the Year!

In 2015 we also achieved the honour of being listed in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide for 10 consecutive years. An achievement we are very proud of!

The Land of Liberty has won the local branch award many times and is Cider Pub of the Year! We have been Hertfordshire Pub of the Year 7 times and reached the National Final in 2008.

We also feature in the CAMRA book 'South East Pub Walks' by Bob Steel  and the current Good Beer Guide as well as the AA Good Pub guide.
